About Us
Mt Roskill Primary School in Puketāpapa caters to about 650 students in Years 1 to 6. Our school is part of the Mt Roskill Campus of Schools where education is paramount and students achieve.
Mt Roskill Primary School is a wonderful mix of diversity, with students from many cultural backgrounds, working alongside students with physical disabilities and others with special learning needs. Our school’s vision is to develop children who are active, engaged, successful learners. We provide opportunities for students to achieve in the classroom, on the sports field, in cultural activities and the arts, while growing great citizens.
All students have something of value to offer that is recognised and appreciated, and all students are successfully provided for as individuals.
Campus Connections with MRI and MRGS
A seamless educational journey awaits students at our unique campus, where the primary, intermediate, and high school are integrated into one vibrant community. This model provides a familiar and supportive environment, allowing for smooth and confident transitions as students progress from one stage to the next. Shared events and activities such as our campus concert, Mataraki celebrations and Māori Graduation foster a strong sense of belonging. Through the campus students have a continuous learning experience that supports their academic and personal growth every step of the way.
